ROUTINES

First of all I survived going back to work, It has been a little difficult as I've had several people ask me if I was alright as I know I seem like I'm dead from the neck up. I just want to do want I have to do and not get involved with any other issues.

Next Monday is a public holiday here - Queen's Birthday (Happy Birthday Lizzie) so I have decided to take the rest of the week off as leave so I can get my shit together. I just want some time on my own and try to get myself in some sort of routine again. Routines are good for people with depression.

In an effort to stick to the routine, I weighed in this morning, had a loss of 1.2kg so am glad to see I haven't gained as I haven't been too arsed about sticking to the plan of late. Maybe I need to have that attitude more often or maybe there are calories in tears.

Don't feel bad. I don't have a plan either. I am too bummed out. Routines are what get me depressed. I need a little spontaneity sometimes. I get tired of the same old thing.

Take some time. Take as much time as you need. We are here to listen. I want to congratulate you on your loss! Way to go!

Way to go on your loss this week. I hope you can come out of you blues soon. It sucks and I struggle with it too. What has helped me is getting out and exercising, seeing friends and just forcing myself into doing things and then it seems to get better with time.
Hope you can get some joy into your life soon.

Thoughts are with you! Hope you're feeling more like your normal self soon. Interesting you say routine is good for depression. I have depression issues from time to time and I live on routine!!!

Congrats on the loss!! Especially given the circumstances!!!

Hey - congrats on the loss - take it where you can get it. Glad to hear that you are bad at work - I work with way too many women and everyone wants to be snoopy and know whats going on and why you take a day off - snub them - hold your head up and you'll get thru your day. :) Take care of yourself.

Awesome loss!
What can you do to pull yourself out of the duldrums?
Go to YouTube and search for Balls Of Steel. That's a good start just for today :o)

Dear CG,

I am very mystified by your depression. I understand the words you are saying, but on the other hand, it seems to me that you are doing amazingly well under the circumstances. You should be really proud of yourself and upbeat that you are enduring the trials and tribulations. My hopes and prayers are with you. Don't get down, GET UP!!!
