HAPPENINGS

I've stopped the diet. The high fat content was just too much for my poor wee stomach to handle. I suppose I could have modified it to cut out the fats, but the authors insist fat with the protein helps in the overall process. Also, had problems with diarrhoea and cramps.

I think from now on I'll just have to stick to what has worked for me in the past - counting calories or points and get off by fat arse and do some exercise.

So that's it folks I will reveal my weight when I decide what and how I'm going to do, I have gained that's for sure.F*ck!

Yeah, the exercise and just eating healthy does work....I don't seem to be doing that at the moment.
Thx for your comment on my blog. About the symptoms you said about your heart or heart beat can I ask how long did you have the symptoms? Did you have pressure in your chest or arm? I hope I can chalk mine up to stress but I feel calm and the moment but still feel out of sorts. Thanks for sharing...I'm just a bit worried at the moment.

Well, it is always good to try new things to see how they work for you. Now you know it's not for you and you can move on. Don't be too bummed, you will lose again.

I read the same book and did the same thing and it wasn't worth it.. but for some people it has worked for them.

Good on you for trying something different but knowing that it wasn't right and going back to you know what does.. woohoo you.

Good for you for realizing what you were trying wasn't making you feel good. (So many people keep on doing things that don't feel right--I know I have before, and I got really sick.)

This upswing in weight is just a temporary blip on your radar screen! You're going to be losing again soon.

I think you are correct we've all to find which method works best but whatever its still our determination that needs to be at its strongest.

Sorry to hear about that. Thanks for bringing back memories of the DEADLY SQUIRTS!! Now I remember the other reason I quit the Atkins Diet. I guess some people are not affected as much, but for me it seemed to alternate between constipation (little hard rocks) and the squirts.

I know, TOO MUCH INFO!! Sorry! Anyhow, at least you chipped away a few pounds and what ever doesn't kill you will only make you stronger!!

I don't understand diets that encourage eating fat. Isn't our goal to get rid of it?
Personaly, i'm glad you stopped. Anything that makes you feel ill can't be doing you good :o/
How are you feeling now?

Hope all is going ok in your world!

I'm trying to just try and lower my carbs (eat far too many) but still doing WW points. Has to be something you feel good with and can work for you. A friend followed what you ahve tried, lost piles of weight and wham straight back on again. All about a healthy balance. Thanks for your lovely email too by the way:-)

Well, you and I are in the same boat, hoping it won't sink. I have yet to come to terms with my weight loss and how to do this. It's so hard sometimes. Thanks for sharing your frustrations. It's comforting knowing you aren't the only one going through this.
