ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Still hobbling around on the crutches. I am finding the limited movement frustrating to say the least. It has highlighted to me (again) how precious good health and fitness is.I know when I go to my annual review with my immunologist in 2 weeks time I am going to get a mouthful.

I have gained weight big time,my mother told me yesterday "she has never seen me as big as I am now". This comment stung me a bit but if your mother can't tell you a few home truths, no one can.

I jumped on the scales this morning and am so disgusted I'm not even going to write down those figures here, but I can tell you I have gained half if what I lost in the past two years.

I'm back on my old program of 1500 cals a day and will blog my losses and not my weight until I have reached what my lowest weight was. It's a mind thing I know, but I seem to do better when I play these games.

Anyway best go and pay some people, have a good week to you all and I will be dropping in on your blogs more in the next week.

As much as those comments are hard to take they do sting us into action - I know that only too well! Remember though that you haven't put all the weight back on so you've still achieved something, it's so much easier to beat ourselves up but be careful that doesn't create a negative mindset. Hope you get off those crutches sooner rather than later - can't even begin to imagine how frustrating it must be!

I am not happy with my weight gain this past year too and am too close to my starting weight it's depressing. But, we keep trying....I'm back to wt watchers and you will keep trying to. I'm trying not to get down on myself about it cause that negative thinking just leads to more of the same. We are our own worst enemies, aren't we?

Sometimes its when people close to us mention our weight that we become realist and get motivated.

Your not alone with struggles regarding losing weight. I've been there done that too.

Yes health is important and please hang in there. It will happen and hope your week improves.

It took my brother having & surviving a heart attack the day before my fathers funeral (1/08) for me to finally get my act together. Now I just have to keep going specially when it gets too hard.

You can do this just take one step at a time.

I know exactly what you are going through! I am living it myself. It's a horrible feeling, and sometimes it just makes me feel worse. I am so happy you have stuck with me. I will continue to be here to support you. We can do this!
