WEIGH IN

Wow, it's been 3 weeks since I last recorded a official weigh in - where does the time go.

Today's weight is 115.7kg (254.54lbs) so a loss of 1.3kg (2.86lbs).

Eating has been under control, my restriction is still good but I think I could manage some more in my band.

My hunger is pretty much in control most of the day though I still have some sugar cravings in the late afternoon and after dinner.

I've been having those Nescafe Skim Cappuccino sachets with some sweetener in the afternoons which help out and at night when it's bad I nibble on 1 ginger nut biscuit.

The bowels are still not great and it's now been 5 days without going again so I may just have to bite the bullet and get the Movacol.

Hey that's a idea - bullets - you know the chocolate covered licorice ones - now they sure make me go!!!!!

Seems to me that almost every one of you girls who have had WLS have the same problem... with the bowels. Surely your doctors told you this could be a problem ? I would hate to be constipated! I suffered for a couple of years with that while having to take masses of iron supplements, thank God I no longer have to take friggin iron!
I hope you can get over the 'problems down below' soon!

You are doing great! Getting the habits under control is most of the trouble. I was at a conference over the last few days and a guy there was talking about habits and how in order to get over them, we need to go through a process that is an individual thing. So whats the process? It's figuring out thats the hard part. But you seem to be going great! :o)

Well done on the loss!

I've always used coffee as a way to deter sugar cravings - I just add sugar to it and they tend to go and have to admit i'm addicted to those Nescafe skim cappuccinos too - I have one most days.

Wow, you are doing great. The complications and side-affects you have suffered stink, but I am sure that they are nothing in comparison to the health you are gaining. Keep up the good work.
