GIVING THE GARDEN A BRAZILIAN

No gym today, as it doesn't open on a Sunday (which annoys me a bit as weekends are when I have the time to go). Got a good workout though doing yard work for most of the day, trimming shrubs and sawing off branches. Lordy, I was working up a sweat with all the weeding and raking. Oscar the wonder dog was having a ball as well standing on the tree branches hitching a ride as I dragged them to the side of the house, it was so funny to see.

Today was really hot and humid, so I sure looked a treat with a beetroot coloured face and helmet hair due to the profuse sweating. I suppose the good thing is I achieved two things, one being a workout and two having a tidier yard. Just a bit worried how I'll wake up tomorrow for my first day back at work since the Xmas break.

Anyway, of to bed now to get some much needed beauty sleep - lol!!!

Well good for you, getting out there and doing some work in the yard! I did the same thing the other day, it sure is tiring and hot. Hope your first day back at work goes well.

I'm sure the gardening will have given you a work out better than the gym, hate it myself.

A workout is a workout! You can imediatly see the fruits of your work in the garden, whitch is great.

LOL!!! Great title!!! Sounds as though you had a great workout my dear. I am picturing Oscar and laughing.

So you go back to work today ... I guess I should say so you went back to work yesterday. I know they tend to try to overwork you there and I am hoping that this year you will have a better work-life balance.

Yeah I have the same issue regarding the gym on Sundays - they don't think of us poor workers, I mean who has the time to get there after work as often as they'd like to?

Good on your for getting out in the garden, you're braver than I am in this heat. Hope your first day back at work wasn't too tough.
