Had a busy weekend. It was one of those weekends where nothing went to plan and I ended up doing things I didn't particularly want to do.Consequently I didn't feel like I had any time off.
My parents have a 50Th Wedding Anniversary coming up so I've been busy organising letters from the Local Member and the Prime Minister.Because it's so close to the first anniversary of my brothers death, my mother doesn't want a party as such, I suppose I can understand, so my brother and I will take them out to dinner.Hubby and I have our 20Th anniversary also on the same day.OMG I can hardly believe it's been so long. where does our lives go. Can anyone give me some suggestions I can do for my parents 50Th??
Life has been pretty much so so at the moment, the most exciting thing I've done is change my avatar back to my laughing dog or woodchuck as Spidey calls it (What's a woodchuck???) I didn't think the Bimbo sitting on the throne was really me, the only throne I get to sit on is the dunny (Aussie slang for can or john)lol.
After my demolition last week losing 1.4 kg I fear my weekend of "not giving a shit" will results in a gain this week. What a tosser!

I got tagged by wannab too so I will do this meme soon.
Good to learn a bit mor about you. I like your avatar...it's cute. Maybe I'll change mine, I'm tired of seeing my mug shot.
Sorry about your brother. That is not easy for your family or you.
Maybe you can take your parents out for some kind of cruise? Glass bottom boat? You have a cute woodchuck.
Glad to see the laughing dog back. I am also very sorry about your brother - that would really be a tough one. Good luck with the weigh in, I am sure it will be positive. :)
I remember you telling me about your brother, it certainly makes me understand your depression chick! I think losing my brother in an accident is what started my deep depression and caused me to gain even more weight.... both my brothers have been killed in tragic accidents, and it takes years and years to get over it, but somehow you do, even when you don't even want to! My Dad drowned a year after my last brother's death too, but that didn't even register! If you have a wee gain this week, so be it, just move forward and keep trying. As for your parents 50th, in light of the anniversary of your brother's death being similar time, I think a quiet dinner just for family is warranted. And congrats on you and your hubby getting to 20 years too! Stew and I just celebrated our 20th too! wooo hooo
Go easy on the junk food and step up the exercise, and you should be ok at the next weigh in :o)
Wear your kilt, and wear it with pride woman!!!
...I hate that pug picture! It was humurous at first, but then i realised it's the same blank, expecting stare that Princess gives everytime there's food around! She's not allowed in the room when someone's eating now lol
I love your avatar hun... it is you.
Big hugs re your brother hun it must be really hard.
What about something that your parents used to do when they first met? Or how they met??? and organise something similar to happen in a month or so so it isn't around the brothers anniversary of his death ya know.
I am sure your weigh in isn't going to be as bad as you think hun also... get back on track now and things will be ok... ok buddy!! ;-)
Always here to listen aye...

I am envious of the 50th anniversary. I NEED to find a man for a 1st anniversary!!!!
(Ok perhaps the hard part would be to propose first! )
CAll some of your party stores (the ones that sell birthday stuff) and ask one of the clerks what are some of the best ideas/stories she has heard or seen from working. I bet you'd get some great as well as funny ideas.
Harem pants..omg I forgot about those... I used to love them.... Oh I think I still have the pattern somewhere!!! hahahaha
What is an eye toy???
cool I love those taggy things. One note about your avatar ... it makes your funny comments even funnier but your serious one it sounds like you are taking the micky!! lol
Nice to find out about others ... I'll have to have a think about these ... hmmm ...
