Sorry for not being around much. It's auditing time at work, my favourite time of the year - NOT!
All I seem to be doing is spending time at work and not much time for anything else.
My diet has been going so-so, no major breakouts, but can't seem to stop picking.
Consequently the scales are going up and down faster than a brides nightie.
I bought a slow cooker last weekend and am looking forward to giving it a whirl this weekend. I have picked out a scrummy pork and pear casserole.
I'm still getting my food though only 5 days worth, leaving me the get my own on the weekends. I suppose the positive is I'm not gorging myself and there is some control.
Anyway that's all folks I am going to make myself a nice cup of twinings. I will post a weight soon.
MIGHT.... SEW!

Slow cookers are just neat! I have one but forget to use it cos it's right at the back of the cupboard! Out of sight/out of mind. Good luck with yours, pork and pear sounds yummy!
Pork and pear does sound yummy...
I havent got a slow cooker but have heard they are really good...
Maybe thats what I need so that i come home from work to a yummy cooked meal...
Hope your auditing time is over soon. ick.
I like the crock pot and make some things in it but don't use it nearly enough. Tried pork roast and potatoes and veggies and tried the white bean chili. Pork and pears sounds interesting. Tell us how it tastes.
Oh I so have to use my slow cooker one day - i've had it for about 2 years and it only tends to come out to heat food at parties ... lol ... how slack is that?
At least you're conscious of the picking - that's the first step towards topping it, and besides as long as the scales are going down as well as up it sort of balances out right? :-)
Can't believe how you wait until I turn my head for a second and then blog up a storm. I've got some reading to do here!!! LOL!!!
I bought a slow cooker some time last year and it's still sitting on my counter unused. I don't mind though. I think they are great inventions and know I'll use mine eventually.
