It's Friday night (yay) and I'm home all alone (double yay)with the dog.My daughter is at a sleepover and wont be home till Saturday night and my husband it at his poker night.I should say one of his poker nights - he goes 5 nights out of 7.He has been struck by the bug, playing the poker tournaments which are held at various clubs around where we live.It sometimes annoys me that he does it so often, but have reconciled to it as it doesn't cost anything to play and he's not out drinking while he's doing it. It has given him an interest which is good and he is always trying to get me to go with him, but it's not my cup of tea. The best he's done is 3rd out of 250, who knows it may lead to the professional circuit one day and mega bucks!!!! lol
My weekend is going to be filled with the usual, grocery shopping, washing and cleaning, consequences of having to work full.
At Spiders request I've replaced the virtual models with actual "skinnier" (and younger) photos of myself. It's funny but I used to think myself as fat back then - wish I was that "fat" now. The beach shot was taken by a girlfriend on one our many weekend fishing adventures, you'll notice I'm wearing a sarong as I hated showing what I thought were thunder thighs. The second head shot was taken by my husband on our honeymoon just before we headed off to dinner.I'm about 75 kilos in each shot. I will post a recent shot as soon as I get around to conning someone to do it.Anyway off the bed now as a busy day tomorrow.

And what a pretty lady, love them photo's.
Hmmm, annoying to think most of us thought we were fat years ago when we really wern't eh? Your photos look nice, let's see ya now,and mate, they simply can't be as bad as my fat ones !
Omg... I sooo love seeing photos of people i blog with... and let me tell you i think you are gorgeous....
woooohooooooo
But I so totally understand about you thinking you were fat even back then...I was the same... hmm And struggling again now...
Always the chunky body image thing...
I would also like to see your photos now..and the ones from when you first started your journey...
I have old ones on my blog from when I was at my biggest and love looking back at them to inspire me and keep me going!
The hobby seems to take alot of his time. But you're right its not like he's at a strip club. ANd the flip side you get a quiet night all to yourself.
The pics are pretty.
I love the pics, you were and still are now a very attractive woman.
I think you can really live in the past though, and I think a photo of your current you, where you are on your journey in life so far is an even better idea!!
I have always said my whole life, that I wanted my body to look how it used to look when I was 18, but lets face it, without surgery (or even with it!) that's just not possible, because i have had 2 children, and my stretchmarks, saggy boobs and 'pouch tummy' which are the total opposite of when I was 18. On the same token, I am also much smarter and think I have more to offer than when I was 18 too. Instead of wishing we were 'how we used to be' I kind of think it's fun to think of who we are, and will become when we get to our goal weight.
It's not possible to turn back time, no matter how much weight we lose, we won't be that person again.
Good on you for posting the pics! You look a bit like a 50's movie star [Can't remember her name] in the head shot.
I always thought i was fat when i wasn't too. Maybe that's part of the mentality that starts us off towards really gaining weight?
I take my hat off to you with the 5 nights of poker. I couldn't agree to that at all! lol
You are one very classy and beautiful lady! The photo on the beach really shows a very alive and happy person. I hope that you can bring that part of you out more, as it is the living girl that wants to be out in the sun, not inside the fat.
The first photo you look like a high society lady from a BBC TV show! I cannot really place the name of the actress that you remind me of.
I used to watch Lovejoy a lot, and of course the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, The Prisoner, and a variety of BBC movies that are shown in the USA on BBC-America.
Which actress do you look like? Certainly a fine lady, all culture. I hope you don't mind my daydreaming, it is almost eleven at night and I am off to work in a few.
